Matthew Strauss, a paramedic with the Alexandria Fire Department was recently awarded an Ultimate Rescue Vehicle package from LifeGuard30™ that includes a 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Strauss, the 2010 Northern Virginia Educator of the Year, participated in a contest sponsored by LifeGuard30™ and beat thousands of fire and EMS professionals who entered nationwide.
